Aviary

The double-glazed casement windows can be tilted or opened completely and not only ensure a pleasant indoor climate but also sufficient daylight.
The container is delivered from the factory with 6cm of thermal insulation. The interior walls and ceiling are lined with coated and easily washable chipboard. The floor is constructed of cement- bonded chipboard and covered with a highly abrasion-resistant and slip-resistant floor covering.
The eight new breeding boxes (120 x 60 x 60 cm) from OESIEG are made entirely of plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel. The breeding boxes feature one-piece drawers and large doors, which greatly simplify regular cleaning.
By removing the dividing slides, 2 breeding boxes can also be used as weaning boxes (240 x 60 x 60cm) or as a small flight aviary.
The plastic nesting boxes (25 x 20 x 25cm) can be easily pushed into the breeding boxes and can be opened from the outside, which greatly simplifies regular nesting box inspection.
Although made entirely of plastic, a nesting trough made of Meranti wood is used.
Installation plan for the two 300W infrared heating panels from ECOFORT .
Two 300W infrared heating panels (90 x 30cm) mounted on the ceiling provide the necessary warmth in the breeding room during winter.
For lighting, two LED lights 1400mm long, SOLAR STINGER type DAYLIGHT (6500° K LEDs) with 24 watts each from ECONLUX are used.
The LUNETTA night light (0.4 W) from OSRAM with brightness sensor is used as a night light (3 pieces for the entire breeding room).
A NOVUS LHV 225 fan with an output of 900 m3 per hour provides the necessary air circulation. The entire system is controlled by a SUEVIA 248 T30 timer from CONRAD .
On April 15, 2015, my second container (488.5 x 243.5 x 259.1cm) for the new Bourke's parrot facility was delivered by CONTAINEX .
